Central Coast Campgrounds

We deliver to your campsite. Below are some of the parks that we recommend.

Jalama Beach spans the mouth of Jalama Creek at the site of a historic Chumash Indian settlement named “Halama.” Now this site is a popular Santa Barbara County park with a campground and day-use facilities. The campground is open to tent and RV campers and even has seven cabins available to reserve.

On site is a camp store with sundries, food, beer, and wine. At the store is a grill restaurant with their “World Famous Jalama Burger” and other tasty meals for breakfast, lunch, and early dinner.

Jalama Creek flows under a train trestle and pools up on the north side of the park where birds can be found. The public beach continues below cliffs north in front of Vandenberg Air Force Base and south in front of the Cojo-Jalama Ranch. To get to Jalama Beach County Park, turn off Highway 1 south of Lompoc onto Jalama Road and follow it to the ocean. It’s a long winding drive of nearly 15 miles from the highway, which can be slow going in an RV and very fun in a sports car (unless you get stuck behind one of those RVs!).
